Commercial Recycling Services

California’s AB 341 and the Town of Truckee’s Municipal Code Section 6.01.060 require businesses (public and private) to separate recyclable materials from garbage. Recycling carts are available for free (up to the equivalent of your trash service level) through TTSD and serviced once/week. Blue bags are no longer accepted for commercial recycling. Contact Town recycling staff for free resources, including signage, indoor receptacles, complimentary waste assessments, or free recycling carts.
