Never throw electronics in the trash. They contain hazardous metals and components, and must be specially disposed of with electronic waste.
Special Directions
Computer accessories, such as keyboards, can be taken to Eastern Regional Landfill during normal business hours for a fee. From there, it will be sent to a recycling facility, disassembled, and recycled into new products.
